Christian Rich stirred up a buzz this year with their mixtape ‘The Decadence’ which showed their various musical influences which showed in the different tracks. The two that caught my attention, happened to be their fist two singles ‘Famous Girl’ and ‘Hello Virgin’. Here we have a new track from them, ‘Say My Name’ which features another rising star, Colin Munroe, who has worked with Drake, Wale, Travie McCoy and Black Milk to name a few.
A smooth Electro-pop track, a club balled (stole that from Ryan Leslie) of sorts that is easy to listen to. The good thing about Christian Rich is they go for a different sound while keeping it simple, if that makes sense. Having spent time in the studio with Kanye and Pharrell, it’ll be interesting to see what they’ve been cooking up these past few months.
