The Electric Daisy Carnival or EDC as it’s commonly known by punters and DJ’s alike is one of the biggest festivals held in the states. Hosting some of the biggest names in Electronic music, the who’s who of producers and DJ’s play over the 3 day event held in Las Vegas. When I was in Miami a couple of months back I got to see Gaslamp Killer and A-Trak live. I’ve seen Trizzy a bunch of times (he’s always worth watching) but had never seen Gaslamp Killer before. He had to be one of the best DJ’s I got to see whilst in the States. Definitely the highlight of The Do Over (which was held in Miami). The energy and passion he displays in his live set was incredible. With that said here’s a quick recap of what went down when A-Trak and Gaslamp Killer along with Kid Sister went on the Magic 8-Ball tour (which like me, if you live outside of America would’ve missed out on). Kid Sister puts on a good show too, got to see her last year when she performed at the Creamfields festival. If any of the 3 are in your town in the future make sure you check them out.

Anna Lunoe has just released this new mix for the Stockholm Beat Connection Blog (maybe we could get one from her too?) and it’s solid. Known to mix it up as far as genres go in her live sets, this mix reflects that style featuring some new and old faves, as well as unreleased tunes from Ms Lunoe herself and friends Swick and Wax Motif.
