What does LA’s Them Jeans and Sydney’s Anna Lunoe have in common? They both have a penchant for playing music to get any crowd moving. Not to mention the experience they both have under their belts as far as playing at parties across the globe goes. So it was only right that they collaborate on a track, ‘Voodoo’, which I suspect will be released soon (not sure what label or the actual date). It’s a smooth dancefloor burner on the Deep House/Tech tip that will be sure to get plenty of spins this Summer down here. I’m diggin the subtle vocals too. While many of you have danced to one of Anna’s crazy and fun filled sets it won’t be long till we’re just as familiar with her creations on the production side of things. Give us more Miss Lunoe!

KATO – FUTURE BASS MIX

Always ahead of the curve when it comes to club music, Kato consistently moves crowds with an array of sounds that they otherwise wouldn’t be exposed to. Whether playing at a festival or a late night set in clubs Australia wide, his knack for knowing what to play and when to play it has never failed and anyone who’s heard one of his sets would agree. A resident at World Bar’s ‘Wham’ party held weekly on Saturday nights, Kato has completed a solid new mix for Wham’s blog featuring a plethora of club friendly tunes. UK Funky, Tech House, Deep House with some quirky mash ups can be heard in the mix.
For those of you residing in Sydney or even visiting this weekend be sure to catch Kato and a host of other fine DJ’s spinning all sorts of sounds at Wham! this Saturday night (for those of you who’ve never been tea pots are a must, you’ll know what I mean when you go).

This collabo is an international affair which sees South African lyricist Spoek Mathambo team up with Brooklyn based MC Cerebral Vortex for their new release ‘Drunk Like That’ on Little Owl Recordings. Club producer and enthusiast Cobra Krames lends his talents with the beat and the EP also features remixes from Douster, Nightmare Juke Squad and Sonora. The EP is out now and can be purchased wherever fine digital music is sold.

The folks over at Killpop Records were feeling generous and as a result let loose a dancefloor heater from Club juggernauts Crizzly and Kids At The Bar. They cleverly sample Skee-Lo’s classic ‘I Wish’ in their banger that will make ear drums pop. Head nod action guaranteed.
