More heat from Gamma Audio with the release of Ylem’s ‘Articulate Robot’ EP. Hailing from Perth, Australia Ylem opts for a more melodic and moodier sound within the realms of Dubstep for his latest release. 6 well crafted tunes for those who prefer (or are inclined to) the more traditional sound of Dubstep. These are the types of tracks you’d expect to hear in the early hours of the morning in the club but I can also imagine hearing each of these in a science fiction movie of some sort (like Transformers perhaps?). Reputable Dubstep/Bass label Gamma Audio has just released an new album from Russian producer Partyson. ‘Kosmos’ features a combination of melodic Dubstep with elements of DNB and Electronica. As far as production goes Partyson isn’t afraid to experiment and mesh the genres. Check out each of the tracks from the release below. One of the US’s emerging Dubstep and Bass music producers 12th Planet played at the Electric Zoo festival in New York last weekend. Known to bang it out with heavy tunes of his own and others this live set packs a punch.
