Bang Gang’s clutch shooter Cassian has compiled a solid mix of tunes for the reputable White Light mix series. This mix sees him playing tunes that you normally wouldn’t hear from him in his club sets, here’s what he had to say about it:
“Some of the past White Light mixes rank amongst my all time favourites, and I really thought a lot about what made the good ones great whilst putting my mix together. I wanted to incorporate lots of different genres, sounds and emotions in my mix whilst making sure everything I included was high quality and sounded great. I was also strongly influenced by the Dr Peppers mix series by Gus Da Hoodrat, and wanted my mix to follow a similar journey to those mixes. I’ve put a lot of thought into this mix so I really hope you all enjoy it and on a final note I’d like to add that (as with all music) this mix should be listened to on a high quality sound device. So make sure you’ve got some good earphones, headphones or speakers!“

It’s been awhile since I’ve come across a good Mash Up mix. I do acknowledge there isn’t a ton of them to be found out there but every once in awhile I manage to come across an exceptional one worth sharing. The Hood Internet are a production duo from Chicago and they happen to specialise in making Mash Ups and mixes featuring them. They know no limit as far as crossing Genres goes and you can hear that on the sequel of their Trillwave mixtape.
