Dope video for a dope song, makes sense really. Second single for Sydney’s Flight Facilities with French director Dimitri Basil recreating 70′s television. The video was shot entirely in Sydney for those of you that are wondering and the way that it was filmed would leave many guessing a variety of locations around the world. This would have to be one of the best Australian music videos I’ve come across. Oh yeah, I’ve been busy, hence the lack of posts but I’m getting back into the swing of things.

The crazy duo from Brisbane known as Surecut Kids have released their debut EP ‘Dayum Girl!’ on Kid Kenobi’s label Klub Kids. The EP’s sound revolves around the various styles found in clubs around the globe. From Ghetto Tech to Baile Funk and all things in between, the boys have crafted a solid collection of bangin’ Bass tunes that will keep dancefloors sweating. They’ve opted to experiment instead of sticking to one particular sound and in my opinion that decision worked in their favour. The boys have also whipped up a neat 30 min mix featuring each of the tracks from the ‘Dayum Girl!’ EP as well some of their recent remixes which is also worth grabbing.

What does LA’s Them Jeans and Sydney’s Anna Lunoe have in common? They both have a penchant for playing music to get any crowd moving. Not to mention the experience they both have under their belts as far as playing at parties across the globe goes. So it was only right that they collaborate on a track, ‘Voodoo’, which I suspect will be released soon (not sure what label or the actual date). It’s a smooth dancefloor burner on the Deep House/Tech tip that will be sure to get plenty of spins this Summer down here. I’m diggin the subtle vocals too. While many of you have danced to one of Anna’s crazy and fun filled sets it won’t be long till we’re just as familiar with her creations on the production side of things. Give us more Miss Lunoe!
