Bey’s video onslaught continues as she releases the visual for ‘Party’ which features a new verse from Jermaine. Not sure why Andre 3000 didn’t feature in the video but I think it would’ve been better. Although Beyonce opting to go bra-less for most of the vid made up for it.
One of LA’s finest DJ’s Mike B has posted not one but two Moombahton mixes on his Soundcloud to promote Moombahton Massive V party that he will be playing at in DC on July 27. Featuring tunes from the best in the game including Dillon Francis, Dave Nada, Munchi, Heartbreak and Sabo to name a few, these mixes will get the party started and then some. A good day for Ton lovers worldwide.

Beyonce gets her grown and sexy on with this one with a verse from Andre 3000, which never hurts. Kanye West and Consequence laced the beat too. Might not make 1# on the Billboard charts but it’s a winner in our books. New album ’4′ in stores June 28th.

Here’s footage from DJ Spinna’s ‘Stevie Wonder Tribute Party’ held in Brooklyn. Featuring cameos from Fab 5 Freddy, Sucio Smash, Fresh Daily, DJ Clark Kent, A.J. from Extra and of course Spinna himself. Looked like a good night.

Sydney’s #1 ultra rare quick strike forward thinking club night returns to present MC/DJ duo J-WOW and KALAF – members of the amazing Portuguese kuduro club bass fusion act BURAKA SOM SISTEMA (Fabric) who tore up sold out Becks Bar and Laneway Festival shows on their last visit to Sydney.
J-Wow is the driving force and one of the main producers in Buraka Som Sistema. As a solo artist J-Wow is responsible for a string of dope releases and remixes for labels like Diplo’s Mad Decent, Kitsune and his own Enchufada. J-Wow is a rising star of the tropical world bass scene alongside contemporaries such as Mumdance, French Fries, Canblaster, Savage Skulls, Douster, Brodinski and Sound Pellegrino. Joining J-Wow and Kalaf on the night are usual Wamp Wamp suspects KATO, LEVINS, GENERIC DJ’s and WEDDING RING FINGERS. Tickets will be available presale on moshtix (and at the door if still available). We’ve got a double pass up for grabs, the first 2 people to email us (dirtyfriendsauzz@gmail.com) will win. This Friday sees the return of the monthly party Snap Back!. The grand opening was a success and it looks like Kings Cross has got another winner as far as Hip Hop parties on Friday nights go. Entry is $10, a bargain compared to surrounding parties where they charge $20 or more. A good vibe, no dresscode, cheap drink and good tunes, which all seem so simple but are hard to find the way Sydney nightlife is these days. With resident selectors Eko, Nacho Pop, Rude Girls and myself, you’re bound to hear a bunch of Hip Hop favourites spanning the various eras as well as some Bass heavy Dubstep to get heads nodding. The ever so charismatic Lee Monro will be holding it down as the MC for the night. So if you’re up for good music in a laidback atmosphere head down to Lepanic this Friday, where the party kicks off at 10. Snap Back is where it’s at.

It’s party time once again. The ever so talented man that is Mowgli is returning to Sydney to play at one of the best parties in town, United Colours. What’s there not to say about Mowgli? He does it all from releasing music on his own Deadfish label as well as Jesse Rose’s Made To Play label, to playing various parties all over the globe. He dabbles in all sorts of sounds and knows how to keep the dancefloor interesting. Definately a DJ you don’t wanna miss. Joining him in the music duties will be Playmode and the talented locals Kato, Bad Ezzy and Charlie Chux. A sweet tropical gumbo of House and other sounds to be enjoyed by all. We have 2 tickets for United Colours to give away, the first 2 people to email us (dirtyfriendsauzz@gmail.com) will win.
Last but not least, we have an awesome mix from Kato who will be playing at the party. The mix features alot of Mowgli’s tunes as well as a bunch of current dancefloor treats. Interracial House at it’s finest. Get into it!
